- 1 c beef broth
- 1 c water
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 clove garlic,peeled
- 1 onion (minced)
- 2 tbsp minced celery leaves
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/4 c heavy cream
- 3 Thin slices Lemon
- Simmer all ingredients but the cream and lemon slices,covered for 20 minutes.
- Then strain into another saucepan.
- Add cream and heat over lowest heat for 3-5 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot with lemon slices on top of your cooked broccoli.
